About Meral Duran, DNP, FNP-BC

Meral Duran, DNP, FNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care, pain management, and the treatment of opioid use disorder. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Pace University in 2008 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Pace University in 2012.

Dr. Duran is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. She has successfully passed the Advanced Pain Management Examination offered by the Academy of Integrative Pain Management, further strengthening her expertise in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain conditions.

Throughout her career, Dr. Duran has cared for patients with complex medical needs, including those affected by opioid use disorder. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve improved health outcomes through individualized treatment plans, education, and ongoing support. She is also qualified to certify eligible patients for medical cannabis in accordance with New York State regulations when appropriate.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Duran provides experienced independent contractor healthcare professionals to healthcare facilities for pain management services. Through her network of qualified practitioners, she helps healthcare organizations meet patient care needs while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and professionalism.
